What data we collect
In short and without fine print: what happens to your data on themakeapp.com.
The “Discuss a project” form
The name, email and message you enter in the form are sent by email to [email protected] (Google Workspace mail). A copy of the request is kept in the request log on our server so that it is not lost. The sender’s IP address is recorded with the request to protect against spam. We use this data only to reply to your request.
Google Analytics 4 — only with your consent
If you click “Accept” in the banner, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (_ga) and collects visit statistics: which pages are viewed, where visitors come from, whether they send a request. Until you consent, no analytics cookies are set: in Consent Mode Google only receives anonymous signals without cookies.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
The site runs through Cloudflare. Their web analytics counts visits without cookies and without tracking individual people — we only see overall statistics.
Technical logs
Like any website, our server and Cloudflare process technical request data (IP address, time, page address, browser) to run and protect the site.
