Mobile app development for iOS and Android

We build mobile apps for business end to end: we find out what users need, design the interface, develop, publish to the App Store and Google Play, and support the app after launch.

Who we build apps for

Companies for which a mobile app is a sales or service channel: fuel station networks, delivery, real estate and residential communities, logistics, accounting services. Often the app is only one part of the product, working next to a web dashboard for managers, a website and an admin panel. We design the whole system so that data and flows stay consistent across screens.

What mobile app development includes

  • Discovery and strategy. Product goals, user roles, key flows, competitor analysis and the metrics we will measure results by.
  • UX/UI design. Screen map, interactive prototype, design system and an interface for iOS and Android that follows platform guidelines.
  • Development. Client apps, backend and API, integrations with accounting systems, payment providers, maps and push notifications.
  • Testing and launch. Testing on real devices, store listings, release to the App Store and Google Play.
  • Support. Updates for new iOS and Android versions, improvements based on analytics and user feedback.

How we work

  1. Intro call. We discuss the task, audience and constraints.
  2. Research and prototype. We define the flows and show a clickable prototype before development starts.
  3. Design and development in iterations. We demo working builds regularly so decisions are made on a live product.
  4. Release and growth. We publish the app, track metrics and plan the next versions.

An app as part of an ecosystem

In Vdoma the resident app works together with a web dashboard for property managers and HOAs. In SC Formula drivers carry fuel cards in their phones while fleets manage them in a web dashboard. picapoco has separate apps for customers and couriers plus a kitchen panel. This is the approach we suggest when a business needs a working process, not just a screen in a phone.

FAQ

How much does mobile app development cost?

It depends on the number of user roles and screens, integrations and platforms. After discussing the task we propose a stage-by-stage scope and an estimate for each stage.

iOS or Android — which should come first?

Usually both platforms are needed. We choose the order and the technical approach based on budget, audience and performance requirements.

Can we start with design or a prototype only?

Yes. You can order a single stage — research, UX/UI design or a prototype — and move to development later, with us or with your own team.

Do you publish the app to the App Store and Google Play?

Yes, we prepare store listings, go through review and publish the app under the company’s account.

Do you support the app after launch?

Yes, see app support and maintenance: updates for new OS versions, fixes and new features.
